The Coast of Caligua - Demo

By scrolling around a highly detailed painted 2D map and by navigating through its historic time, the player can witness the movement of characters of importance or how landscape changes over time. Their is no recommended way to explore time and space and through a selfdirected exploring, it may become possible to recognize the bigger picture of the historical events taking place on one of the islands of the Caligua Coast.

This very short playable demo is a conceptual example on how the bigger picture of history could be taught in an intriguing and visually appealing way by using maps with its properties to organize knowledge.
